Fall cruise and Lunch in Buena Vista

On Sept 24, twenty two members of RMC and PPCC drove into the mountains to view the beauty of the Aspen leaves changing colors.
The weather in Denver was cloudy and damp and fog  greeted us as we neared Tiny Town.  But after Baily the sun shined brightly.
The color change of the aspens was very prominent on the top of Kenosha Pass.
The two clubs met at Jan’s Restaurant in Buena Vista for a late lunch and then returning home.
We found more rain in the foothills as we headed back in the evening.
A total of 8 Corvairs were parked behind the restaurant sparking much interest from locals as they came into or left the restaurant.
Of course many had their own stories of prior ownership of our unique cars.
