Sixth Annual Dale Wilshire Memorial Picnic.

A beautiful day. Balmy weather, not too hot, the wind was mild and Cherry Creek State park was the perfect place.
Thirty or so intrepid members made their way to the park to enjoy John Dawson’s burgers and brats as well as each other’s company.
The Smokey Hill shelter overlooks the beach with plenty of shade. There was an impressive display of Corvairs all parked in a row.
Fourteen in all. About the same number as last year. The picnic ended about 3;00 pm and everyone made their way home. A very good day.
