Thanks to Mike, we have a glimpse into cruising to up Manitu Springe .
An early start was necessary to arrive by 6”00 AM at Westbound Highway 24 and 31st Street in Colorado Springs.
I was last in line but I had a good spot.
7 ½ Corvairs all in a cul-de-sac with the half a Corvair represented by the “See More” cutaway Corvair curated by the Pike’s Peak Corvair Club.
See More is always a big hit. The kids particularly enjoyed it.
Since my top was down I offered several parents the opportunity for their children to sit in my functional car.
I told the parents/grandparents I was trying to recruit future Corvair Owners.
Overall in the show there were many unique vehicles on display.
Interesting things about these shows? There are many different cars, not just modern cars or Corvettes.
This show in particular had many well restored trucks, including a REO semi tractor.
