Joan and Dale Wilshire Memorial Picnic

We got lucky.
August has been very hot and the days before the picnic had both rain and heat.
When we arrived, the skys were clear and the temperature was perfect.
While we gathered, we could see what looked like rain off in the distance.
But it never rained anywhere near us and the temperature also cooperated.

It ended up being a perfect day to grill some burgers, brats and dogs.
Then before, during after devouring the meats, sides and desserts have some awesome conversations.
We are also able to spend time and catch up with some folks that we don’t get to see often enough.
Plus….We got to spend a bit of time checking out and discussing the nice Corvairs the delivered some of us.
