A beautiful, sunny morning provided the perfect excuse to drop the top on my 67 Corvair convertible and take a pleasant cruise in from Firestone. My destination was Tebo’s Garage in Longmont for an exclusive, invitation-only tour courtesy of Rick and the club.

When I pulled up, it was clear this was a hot ticket. The main parking lot was completely overflowing into the next two neighboring lots with an incredible turnout of classic and collectible cars. Sadly, my ’67 was holding down the fort alone outside.
I didn’t spot any other Corvairs in the crowd.

Once inside, I spent a solid two hours wandering around on a self-guided tour of the property. The place is massive and features a ton of 1920s, 1930s and ’40s American classics, alongside rare makes and models from just about every era and continent. One vehicle that completely stole the show for me was a 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix Express. It’s a prototype Pontiac “El Camino” that I’d never even heard of before today. I also really enjoyed checking out the older panel wagons and converted delivery vehicles; those classic workhorses have always been a favorite of mine.

Of course, I kept my eyes peeled for some air-cooled engineering inside, and I did manage to spot two beautiful Corvairs tucked into the collection: a ’63 Spyder and a ’64 Spyder. They looked gorgeous, though the warehouse is so beautifully jam-packed with cars that I couldn’t get quite close enough to inspect them in close detail.

All in all, it was a wonderful morning surrounded by incredible machinery. Sadly, I was too enthralled and enamored to take many pictures, so I apologize for that. But if you have the opportunity in the future, I highly recommend a visit!

A huge thank you to Rick  and Rocky Mountain Corsa for securing a spot and sharing the invite!
