Rocky Mountain Corsa Shines at E-Days 2026
The club enjoyed a stellar outing this past Sunday as we headed to Golden for the annual E-Days car show at the Colorado School of Mines.
Our group met up early — joined by some friends of the club in their Fox-body Mustangs.
Then caravanning into the Mines parking lot at 9:00 AM to arrange our rear-engine lineup.
The RMC row was a vibrant centerpiece of the show, featuring a fantastic variety of builds:
George’s yellow LM convertible and Steve’s red LM coupe added a bright splash of color.
Larry brought out his bright red LM coupe.
While Kevin showcased a clean white Crown conversion (with new blue stripes and white wheels).
Joe rounded out the standard lineup with his sharp black LM coupe.
Tony’s Rampside was a perennial crowd-pleaser, serving as a focal point for many admiring attendees.
Chris and his son Colin brought something unique with their Manta kit car, which certainly kept the crowd guessing and asking questions.
While Frank joined us without a car this time, he was a key part of the “camp chair circle” where we spent the morning swapping stories and comparing notes. As usual, we were kept busy by attendees sharing nostalgic memories of the Corvairs they grew up with.
With perfect weather and a great turnout of both members and guests, it was another successful day for the club!
